An engineer by trade, having built street cars, dirt track cars, and a relative new entrant [at 48yo] to the world of jet ski racing, making my debut back in 2018, on the family ski, a 2016 Seadoo GTX300. A few minor mods were made, that eventually yeilded a series win, in UIM GP2 category.

 

 

Deciding in May 2020 to buy a fellow competitors 2016 Seadoo RXPX300, and hopefully take on those at the pointy end of the challenge. I also knew I'd not only need to learn to race with the T3 hull, but I'd need to develop it a little also, so I needed some parts.....but what to get?, how long would it take?, and ultimately, how much would it all cost?

 

In the shadow of the global pandemic that changed the availablity of parts into New Zealand,...was the catalyst that drove me to start making my own versions of parts available predominantely on the USA market.

 

With interest growing in making these kind of parts, it was a little daunting to commit to setting it up,....but after many weeks of prototyping my own creations, I eventually decided to make that bigger commitment, and open an online store to cater to that demand, however big, or small, it may be.

In an effort to keep the prices low, I decided to share my creations in their most basic state. All components would be made in smaller batches initially, and will continuously adjust stock levels as the demand dictates.

And so, in late July 2020, ALTERWORX was born.

 

Interest from other sports, will see the a site expansion to cater those areas, hopefully very soon.
